YAY IT’S FRIDAY! If you are new here (follow me, what are ya doing with your life!), Friday is when I post a favorites, which can explain this crazy 90’s picture up above. I was born in 1998, which is technically 2000’s, but as I had older siblings, 90’s movies were what was constantly on the TV, some of which I loved way more than others. Let me know which ones you love most down below!
I am sure each and every one of you have seen this series at least once in your life, but if you are me or a part of my life, you have all of them memorized. These movies are obviously amazing and don’t need any further explanations!
Gumby is by far one of the weirdest things that I have ever watched, but I think that is what has always made me love it. My cousin and I used to sit in front of the tv and watch this on repeat. So so weird, but so so good!
Oh my gosh, I LOVE Casper. I loved both the shows and the movies, especially the one with Hillary Duff (best of both worlds). He was the sweetest thing on earth and I always looked up to him as a best friend figure.
Speaking of Hillary Duff, Lizzie McGuire was literally my life throughout the early 2000’s. This post is bringing back so many memories and I just want to rewatch all of this right now! If you were born into the Hannah Montana stage, I feel sorry for you because Hannah does not even compare to Lizzie! LOVE LOVE LOVE this one!
Drop Dead Fred:
Similar to Gumby, this movie is also really weird, but is so good! I feel that this movie should have always been more famous than what it was, but I owned it, so that’s all that matters. 😋 This is a must watch, especially if you enjoy goofy/silly movies!
Dennis the Menace:
Dennis was by far, the cutest actor ever as a young boy. I loved this movie the most because the older man always reminds me of my grandpa, which makes me laugh so hard! This movie is a classic in my eyes and I wish that they still would play it on tv.
Don’t Look Under the Bed:
OMG I LOVE THIS ONE! It is so good and is one that I still watch to this day! I was always so in love with Larry and thought he was the funniest. If you have never seen this movie, you have to put this on your list! Plus, it is a Disney movie, so what could be better?
That’s So Raven:
Yet, another Disney classic before Hannah Montana had to come along. Not only did I have all of the episodes, I had the DS games and the one movie where she went to visit her Grandparents; yes!!! This show was everything and was definitely playing on my tv at all times of the day as a kid.
Halloweentown will always have a special place in my heart. To this day, my sister and I still have marathons where we watch all of them. They are legit classics and are something that I will watch until I can no longer see. I plan on visiting the location where they filmed some time on Halloween because they celebrate it and all dress up + Marnie visits (I follow her on Instagram).
Smart House was an amazing movie that gave you a glimpse of what the future technology will be. I am surprised that no one has yet replicated the house, as I feel they very well could have due to our crazy amounts of technology today.
I hope this post helped to bring back some great nostalgia and memories. What was your favorite?!
