Happy National Peanut Lover’s Day!!
(I wonder who comes up with these silly “holidays”)
As many of my readers are students, either in high school or college, I wanted to share some ideas/things for you all to do during Spring Break. Yes, we all beg to have a whole week out of school, but once it comes, we normally don’t have any ideas of how to spend it. Hopefully, today I will be able to help you all out a little bit and give you some inspiration!
Of course this would be the first thing on my list, but I probably won’t be doing much of this over my spring break, which is next week. They say it is always a great thing to do to treat yourself, so hit up your closet mall and buy some new clothes/makeup that make you feel confident and beautiful! Also, if you haven’t already, be sure to check out my last post that is all about shopping!
This may or may not be everyones cup of tea, but this is something I enjoy doing. I love that books are so accessible, they really are everywhere you look. Get in a good read and maybe share with me what some of your favorite books are, as I need some new material to read?!
Pick up some extra shifts at work!
If you need me during my spring break, this is where I will be. I never thought I’d be excited to spend my breaks working, but the money and the people I work with just make me thrive during the short amounts of time spent at work. Hey, and with the extra amount in your paycheck, put it towards some school loans or the mall (hehe, story of my life).
Do some spring cleaning!
Ahhh, this is my most favorite thing to do during this time of year. Out with the old and in with the new! Start with your room and closet and make your way towards the bathroom, kitchen, living room, etc. Be sure to make piles of what you can throw away and give away. Please, do not throw away things that someone else may need or want!! There are tons of charities/donations that would love to have your hammy downs.

Try a new workout plan!
My best friend and I have recently started a new work out routine that we will be sharing with you shortly! During spring break is a great time to go on a run or try some new outdoor activities that will help to get you up and moving.
Okay, you all probably thing I’m just some crazy dog lady by now, but I promise you, our pets need just as much exercise as we do, if more! Almost all dogs love to be around each other and be able to have a free run, just make sure they aren’t vicious little monsters, like my little girl is. 😅
Right now, I am wishing that I would have planned a trip and put it into my budget, so I wouldn’t be stuck here in Missouri with this 40 degree weather. BRR! Since I am stuck here, I will just live through all of my friends Instagram posts in Mexico.
Watch some Youtube!
When I am not blogging or doing school stuff, I am watching Youtube. I will soon make a post about some of my favorite Youtubers for you all. Sometimes I think Youtube may even better than Netflix. 😋
Spend time with family!
Since I go to school away from home, I find this one a very important thing to do during my time back at home. I never thought I would miss my family this much while moving away for school, but I do. A lot! Even though I travel home most weekends, I still don’t make as much time as I should for cousins, aunts, uncles, friends from high school, and pretty much any one else other than my mom, grandpa, and boyfriend.
This one is obviously a given, as I’m sure that is the first thing we all do when once on break. Especially with this chilly weather, relaxing is the only thing I want to do 24/7.
I hope this post helps you out if you get bored during your break! Be sure to take this time for yourself to rejuvenate and as always, be safe! XOXO!
