Since it is summer, I know that many of us have had or are planning to have some lazy days off in the future before school starts back. However, with being lazy, I always regret not doing anything that day and it was just a waste of time.
Today, I want to share with you some ways that you can be productive while being lazy on your day off!
Make your bed:
Before my bed is made, I feel as if I can’t do anything in my room. I have gotten into the routine of making it right after I do my skincare routine in the mornings and I love it. Especially if you are planning on being in your room for awhile, it is important to be in a fresh and clean space to get those lazy juices flowing!
I have finally done my laundry yesterday, which I should have done four days ago. On off days, laundry is one of the most important things you should be doing! Whether is it the old sweaty gym clothes on your floor or your bedding, be sure to get this out of the way while you have the time to do it. The good thing about laundry is that you only have to deal with it while loading it, switching it over, and putting it away, while the laundry machine does the rest for you!
Take a bubble bath and create a spa appointment at home:
This is my favorite thing to do! Throwing on a face and hair mask, while turning on some music and throwing a bath bomb in is the most relaxing thing in the world! Not only are you relaxing, but you are also benefiting your whole entire body and it will thank you later for it.
Go to the gym:
Ewwww on my day off?! Yes! Sitting around for hours on end is not going to make you feel any better about yourself. Get up, go get in a little, quick workout and then go back to the couch. If you aren’t with a gym, you could always go on walks (take your doggies!), do some at-home workouts, or whatever you enjoy.
This is a good one to do on your day off because you can actually make your lists of what you want/need on the couch! Scroll through Pinterest, find some yummy recipes, and schedule away.
Do a DIY:
When you think about it, you can honestly create something from anything that you have at home. Basic pieces that are playing around the house have the ability to *sometimes* make the cutest DIYs. What can ya lose?
