Happy happy Monday loves! Wishing you all have the best week ever!
Today is my first Monday back at home in a long time and I have to say, I am LOVING it! It feels so good to be back, even though my room is a total disaster.
Today, on my agenda, along with the rest of my week, is planning my sister’s I Do Bbq. I wanted to share with you all some ideas/decor that are going to take place this Saturday at the party.
Since the theme of the party is a bbq, we will be having a bonfire + my favorite part: SMORES! We are planning on making individual bags for each guest, as there is about 80 people coming. I made a sticker (picmonkey) to make the clear bags a little more interesting:
Another project I am excited about is creating a backdrop for photo taking! I am gaining inspiration from this super cute backdrop from Francesa’s blog, but will definitely be incorporating colors related to her wedding, along with a banner that maybe says “MR & MRS” or “I DO.”
Going along the lines with inspo that I have found on Pinterest, a playlist was something that I hadn’t even thought about until I scrolled along a list of songs to play at an engagement party. I then went onto my handy-dandy Spotify and made a new playlist of the songs (let me know if you’d like to see that).
- We plan on setting our volleyball net up and attaching Christmas lights onto them
- Spray painting Twister into the lawn
- We bought games from Academy (ladder ball & bean bag toss)
- Spray painted tic-tac-toe in the yard
Balloons!!! I am going to purchase golf tees and attach balloons filled with helium to them and line the whole driveway, which will look beautiful!
Even though this party requires a lot of planning, I am looking forward to it and wish it was here right now! Let me know what you think of my ideas! XOXO
