Happy Hump Day friends!
I hope y’all are enjoying your 2018 year so far! Not sure how I feel about it just yet, but I am trying to make the most of it. Today I am sharing with you guys what I got in my Ipsy bag for this month! If you would like to watch this in video form, go watch it over on my Youtube channel! Also, let me know what your favorite product is from your Ipsy bag this month down below! If you are not subscribed to Ipsy and don’t receive products each month for only $10, I highly recommend that you go sign up right now!
First thing first: Can we talk about how CUTE this month’s bag is?! To be honest, I’m normally not a huge fan of the bags that the products come in, but I am LIVING for this month’s design. Even though it is negative 2 degrees here, this bag gives me major summer vibes.
When first opening it up, I was super excited about the face mask and eyeshadow. As it has been a few days later, I have gotten the chance to use some of these products and want to share my own opinion with you all now.
Oribe Dry Shampoo-
In my mom’s Ipsy bag that she received last month, she got this same exact dry shampoo and since she is an avid hair washer, I now have 2 Oribe Dry Shampoos, but I am not complaining. I have yet to use this product but have high hopes for it. The packaging gets an A+ and since I have been training my hair to be dirty for at least 3 days, I know that I will be reaching for this soon!
Purlisse Mud Mask-
I have tested this product out, last night actually, and I love it! I was not expecting the burning/tingling feeling that this gives your face once applied, but I know that there is a reason behind that. It is made to detoxify and tighten your skin and I believe it does just that! I left it on for about 12 minutes (recommends 10-15) and had radiant skin after rinsing it off. My face was left a bit red but felt as smooth as a baby’s bottom. This is a mask that I will probably repurchase full size when I use this sample size up because it is very gentle on your skin and has left my face feeling completely rejuvenated!
theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer-
I am fairly familiar with the Balm cosmetics, so I knew that this product would work great for me! This product is super light though and has a golden shimmer to it, which is perfect for my (very) fair complexion. I have found that you sort of have to pack the product on it really see it, but so far, I am happy with this product!
Absolute NY Eyeshadow-
When first seeing this product, I was a little bit disappointed because it looked to be such a bright red and Christmas was last month. However, upon swatching, I learned that it has a gold undertone and is BEAUTIFUL blended out. I want to say that this is one of the creamiest eyeshadows I own and I am super impressed by this product. I plan to check out this brand more since I have never heard of it and maybe pick up a few more shadows in different shades.
F.A.R.A.H 2-in-1 Tweezers-
I am trying to be optimistic about this product, but am in shock that Ipsy would send a product like this out. The tweezers themselves though, seem to be really nice quality, but I plan on throwing these in my purse, as I already have 5 pairs of similar tweezers.
What did you recieve in your Ipsy bag this month?
