HEY HEY HEY Y’ALL!
I hope you all are having a great day! Today, I will be sharing with you 5 easy and quick hairstyles for short hair. Since I have had short hair for a few months now (I chopped off 10 inches 😯), I have gone through many different hairstyles that I have liked or disliked. Even though I do enjoy all of these hairstyles, I am a college student and if you were to see me during the week, my hair would likely be in a bun thanks to the gym and yoga. On the weekends, however; I like to style my fresh, clean hair with these five hairstyles I will be presenting to you. Keep reading if you would like to see them and don’t forget to stick around and follow me, as well!
To begin, I always start by straightening my hair, as I can’t stand wavy pieces here and there. This style is a favorite of mine and my best friend, as it keeps your hair out of your face and is cute and edgy at the same time. It is just two simple french braids to the crown of your head and that’s all there is to it! I also recommend using clear elastics, but I have all of my hair stuff back at my dorm (go figure).
Now, I’m sure that you all have seen this updo everywhere over the past year or so, as the famous Ariana Grande started it all. This is personally my favorite since it is so cute and easy to do. To start, take the top section of your hair and twist it into a bun. Secure with elastics, hair ties, or bobby pins and wah-lah! I must say though, this hairstyle, along with the next one, gives me the WORST headaches all throughout the day that do NOT go away with the help of Advil.
This updo is a spin off of the last one. Just take the upper half of your hair, or whatever you prefer, and secure it with hair ties to keep it up. After that, I normally pull/tighten it really tight to make it stay on the top of my head looking all perky. This is also another one of my go-to styles.
Ahh, the last french twist. For this bad boy, all you have to do is take two sections of hair at the front of your face, start twisting them towards the back of your head, and pick up pieces only from the front and add them to the strand nearest to your face. Hopefully, this will all make sense. When you get to the back, secure it with an elastic and what I like to do is flip the pony tail/remanding hair inside out to make it look seamless.
CLASSIC PONY! Take all of your hair and secure it with a hair tie, pull out some pieces to frame your face, and BAM, you’re all set.
I hope you enjoyed this short, short hairstyles post. HA get it? 😅
