Welcome beauties! If you are new to my blog, be sure to follow me on all my socials and on here, as well (always wanting to grow my internet fam!).
Today, I am sharing with you another DIY must or bust in this little series that I have going on. Be sure to check out the first one that I did similar to this post here.
Lately, I have noticed that brush cleaners have been everywhere! I, myself, ordered one from Wish weeks ago and it still has yet to arrive, so I wanted to try this (free) one! I have seen this exact DIY being done all over Youtube and I have been very spectacle to see if actually works.
To start off, the only items you need for this easy DIY are dirty makeup brushes, glass from a picture frame, and a hot glue gun.
Look up images of brush cleaners online so you can have an idea of designs to draw in order to clean your makeup brushes back to their best and full potential. After finishing the designs, let this project dry for at least 24 hours.
Once the glue is completely dry, take your favorite brush cleanser (I just use Dawn dish soap) and scrub the brushes on the new design and WAALAA:
You have a makeup brush cleaner THAT DOESN’T WORK! The water completely takes off the hot glue when you rub the brushes onto it. I am very upset as to how this project turned out because all of the Youtubers that I saw do this must have never tried it out. This DIY is definitely a BUST! I guess I’m just going to wait a bit longer for my $1 one to come in the mail from China. If you are curious, try out this DIY and let me know how it goes for you!
Thanks so much for reading! XOXO
