Okay, okay, I know that Christmas is a little less than two months away, but I am ready to start celebrating the season and one month just isn’t enough time to do so. Don’t get me wrong, I do love Thanksgiving, but Christmas just makes me feel like a whole different person! Happy and cozy, family time, a reason to go hard at shopping, the music, and just about everything else is what drives my LOVE for this upcoming season.
As I’m sure many of you do too, I really enjoy keeping up with my favorite Youtubers during this season to see all of their festive videos and the ones that normally catch my attention most are the Christmas Wishlist videos. It helps me to gain some new ideas of what I could get for friends and family and also helps give me ideas of what to ask for, as I really don’t need anything. As I have gotten older and am stable with income, I have realized that Christmas is a time to ask for things that you could actually buy yourself, but just don’t want to. That’s the whole fun part, right?
As for this post, I definitely don’t expect to get all of this or let alone any of it, but is just some things that have caught my attention and would enjoy getting my hands on. Although presents are (so) great, there is a deeper meaning to this season, which is what helps keep my spirits at an all-time high: BELIEF. Belief in our Father Jesus Christ and believing in Santa Clause, of course. 😋 I love Christmas time because we are introduced to traditions and beliefs of everyone that believe in different things. I find it all very interesting and think that it is amazing for families to believe in hope or whatever it is that keeps them going. The season just has its way of making life seem just that much better until that is, presents stop rolling in (LOL).
I mentioned this in my last post and have been seeing them everywhere over the internet. I love the endless amounts of creativity that these can create. The ones I have found have been a little pricey, which I know does not amount to the amazing things that could come out of it, but have decided to put it off until Christmas. I am not the best artist, but maybe with this, I could improve? I also think it’d be great for having room to jot down notes and will help with remembering scripture.
This gift idea is definitely one that I have wanted for awhile now but just can’t bring myself to spend the nice amount of money on. With the cold winters here in Missouri and my lack of warmth constantly, this is a staple that I need to get my hands on! Plus, my chihuahua would go NUTS for this! I am currently obsessed with furry gray and white blankets, as they are the only thing I care about seeing when I come home from a long day at work.
Gift cards to Ulta, Sephora, Nordstrom, American Eagle, Scheels, etc-
As these are the stores I shop at most, gift cards would come in handy when buying my monthly “necessities.” I quote that because yet again, I don’t really need this, but it would definitely be nice to receive, especially from my mom because I don’t trust her buying makeup (LOL, love you mom 🙃😋).
This is a gift idea that I need to get myself, as I think my prescription needs to be updated. There are so many styles, which makes the process so hard, but I am ready for some new ones! I have been eyeing the big square-ish styles and am dying for a pair.
As you all know, I am a crazy dog mama and wearing things that relate to her fill my heart with even more joy. I saw these dog pajamas online that have chihuahuas on them and saved them, as they are so, so cute! If I don’t get these for Christmas, I plan on buying them myself (don’t judge).
Lately, my boyfriend and I have worked our way up to having loads of fun games to play and the only one that we are missing is this one. It seems like so much fun and we can’t wait to play it. Plus, it’d be super fun at a Christmas party!
I LOVE planners, but mine is only a 2017 one and will end after December. I would lose my mind without one and need to make sure that I get one if I don’t get one gifted before the year is over. Target and Hobby Lobby have super cute ones, as I like modern and plain designs. Oooh, maybe marble would be nice too. 🙂
What is on your Christmas list?!
